Of course, that gave me a lot of time to form opinions about the creative act and the marketing of its product. I will be dealing with my learning curve in this blog with the hope that it helps those without as much experience. As a professional artist showing in galleries for many years, I see a lot of young artists, or some not so young beginning a second career trying to navigate the art sales minefield...perhaps this will be an aid in knowing how to approach clients and galleries. I have some beliefs that our present education system fails the creative students miserably and will address that along the way.
